Our firm, together with its offshoot Truex American Furniture, collaborated with renowned designer Michael Smith to create the interiors of Majorelle and Jacques Bar at The Lowell Hotel. Drawing inspiration from Maison Jansen’s iconic furniture of the 1950s and ’60s, Scott Himmel designed and directed the fabrication of every piece of furniture for this elegant restaurant and its adjoining bar.
The result is a pair of intimate, meticulously crafted spaces that reflect our commitment to creating small architectural “gems.” Each element — from proportion to materiality to the bespoke furnishings — contributes to an atmosphere of refined luxury that feels both timeless and unmistakably contemporary.
